about

When Nefarico™ shelved the Dogdammit album, The Hussalonia Founder was initially quite eager to cooperate with the megacorporation in hopes of reversing their decision. This is how he ended up agreeing to do an infomercial for Nefarico™ Tooth Powder on Estonia television. The now infamous infomercial never aired, but footage occasionally makes its way to YouTube before Nefarico™ invariably removes it. If you’re ever lucky (or unlucky) enough to see it for yourself, you’ll see The Founder apply a small amount of the bright blue powder to his front tooth, and much to the dismay of everyone present (cameramen can be heard hollering in revulsion), the tooth quickly smolders and dies, essentially disintegrating before the camera.

Nefarico™ dentists immediately set to work on replacing the dead tooth with an implant, but the process took six months, during which The Founder was forced to live toothlessly. Unable to sing without the tooth, and frustrated by the turn of events, The Founder called upon some friends and set to work on My Dead Tooth, a funk album often derailed by experimental and noisy diversions. When he submitted the completed album to Nefarico™, CEO Lou Cipher told him he’d have to be crazy to release the monstrosity. He was probably right.

Of course, Dogdammit has since been released and The Founder finally got his tooth implant, but My Dead Tooth has been languishing in the Nefarico™ vaults for the better part of a year. That is, until now. But be warned, it’s nearly as horrific as the sight of that disintegrating tooth.
